Born in Zimababwe on the 26th of November 1959, Richie Ryall had a stellar professional cricket career in South Africa with Western Province, still holding the most dismissals for a wicketkeeper.
Most of his works are commissions and he has completed paintings for many international clients predominately in America, England, Australia, Dubai, and India. A large collection of his “sporting art” is currently in three permanent museums in the UK, Dubai, and Cape Town.
Richie finds his passion in the form of fine art while concentrating on animal charcoals. As well as this, he produces oils with animals, landscapes, and interiors being of particular interest to him.
While Richie has an array of artworks stretching over three decades, he has raised three children with his wife Lee. During this time the veteran artist has managed to produce five books, where he has been the sole illustrator and publisher.
